Election Guidelines

Here are the election guidelines, all aspirants should please meet up with this guidelines.

  • All registered members of NAICTs are eligible to vote and can be voted for provided he/she has met all requirements as stipulated in this election guideline and have not been found guilty of any misconduct by the university.

  • Screening of candidates shall be conducted by the Electoral Committee and is mandatory for all candidates.

  • Election into all post shall take place simultaneously on the scheduled date.

  • All candidates shall contest on an independent and individual ticket.

  • Only 300 level students are eligible to contest for the post of President and General Secretary.

  • All aspirants are advised to begin campaign immediately after the purchase of nomination form and screening by the electoral committee.

  • There shall be no refund of money after purchase of form, however all candidate have liberty to resign their candidature. Kindly note that forms are not transferable.

  • The electoral committee reserves the right to disqualify any candidate found in violation of this guideline, or involved in any other gross misconduct not necessarily stated here.

  • Only Cybersecurity Science, Computer Science and IMT departments will be allowed to vote in the election.

  • Only registered members will be allowed to vote, all voters are advised to come with their prove of registration.
